Walter's Last Alibi Universe 6174

Universe 6174 picks up right where the marina left off. The grifters from Preclearance at the Lido have scattered, gone to ground, and gotten a little more desperate, but the grooves haven't lost a step: silky electric piano, unhurried bass lines, and horn stabs placed with surgical restraint. This is a record about people who lie for a living and are running out of good ones. Smooth on the surface, crooked underneath, it's the sound of the party winding down and somebody quietly checking the exits.
